We are very pleased to announce this beautiful release from Australia based, Argentinian composer, Francisco Sonur...entitled, "Morning Trials". This gentle excursion into the heart and mind of a man, his family, and their impending intention to travel the world will be available physically and digitally this coming Friday morning, February 5th 2021. This sensitive blend of pastoral and familial field recordings, electronically treated guitar and piano nuances, and occasional ethereally abstracted vocalizations will leave you with a wish to hit the road to distant pleasant lands yourself! 

TRS097 will be available in two distinct CD versions. The Factory pressed CD accompanying both versions features an image of the vintage Mazda camper van that Francisco and his family are in the process of remodeling for their future voyages.

This is the listing for the limited edition deluxe version, in an edition of just 50 uniquely different copies. Each of these comes in a 5” vintage, metal 8mm film can, filled with an assortment of travel oriented 1940's automotive game cards, foreign streetcar tickets, mid century amusement park tokens, and other antique paper ephemera one might collect on a trip, all strung from a thread that also runs through the original circle cut maps that cover the can front and bottom. Inside the lid is adhered an old world map of the night sky to guide their journey by night! On the back of each hand stamped can is a custom printed, rounded atlas page magnet. As a highlight, also hanging from the thread is a vivid and uniquely original road trip snapshot from the 70s, with twice hand typed (black and red) improvisational haiku poem on each. The artist and album title are also hand typed on a little vintage vellum strip hanging off of the cover. Madness here at TRS as usual!

There is also a “standard” edition of 50 copies in hand stamped, recycled, kraftboard DVD cases w/ an attached vintage “road trip” snapshot.
