“ást” is everyday life and smiles, cries, fights at night. “ást” is our hearts beating, “ást” is the very life we breathe. ást means love.

When I listen to “ást” it’s as though I see myself through a mirror…like seeing a shy sunrise early in the morning, or hearing raindrops on the window pane, and smelling the night while smoking a last cigarette outside before sleep…just as you cease to feel worried about your future.

I composed and recorded the album between October and December 2017, and I remember I used to feel quite serene during the recording sessions; maybe it was the first time in my life as a musician (composer and folksinger as well) in which I felt really felt that way while composing an album…very different from what I’ve done with music up to 2017. As I wrote this album I felt relaxed, with an overall inner peace in my heart…even though I was living (and still I am) through a period of very great change.”  (L Bracaloni)

TRS075 will be released in two handmade versions. Each of the first deluxe versions, in an edition of only 60 copies, comes in collaged and handworked, vintage, 5” reel to reel tape boxes. Each painstakingly artified box comes with a factory pressed disc inside encased in a heart cut, red fleece fold over sleeve. Each also contains an accompanying vintage French Tarot card, a hand printed insert, the cut heart and other bits of mysterious paper ephemera.

There is also a hand worked, black digipak version in an edition of just 40 copies.

This release will ship in the last week of April 2018.
